I applaud the goals and achievements of the SOAR initiative. I intend to continue to protect open spaces as they are important for a number of reasons. Some include: Wildlife corridors, CO2 Absorption, O2 production water table replenishment etc.
Another Open Space tentative plan is being worked on to convert a parking lot in Midtown Ventura into an open space park. It’s called the Midtown Commons Park. I applaud this effort and will put my weight into moving it forward.
